Uganda House Investments Ltd, was incorporated as a private limited liability company in 1986. Its principal activity is the management of the Uganda House building, and real estates development.
Uganda House is located in a prime area that is the central part of Kampala City. It occupies an area of approximately 0.94 hectares, of which Plot 8 occupies 0.2 hectares and Plot 10 occupies 0.74 hectares.
Plot 10 consists of an office of an office tower of 14 floors, built over a podium of one level of parking, with rows of shops facing Kampala Road and Nkurumah Road at the lowest level. On the podium is a 3-Storey ‘L’ shaped structure, housing 20 shops, surrounded by 20- two floor bedroom apartments, with individual staff quarters above.
Plot 8 is currently not developed. It was planned as a multi-storey car park, with shops facing Kampala Road and Nkurumah Road at the lowest level.
Uganda House Investments provides excellent services to its customers to make their stay at the premises as comfortable as possible and these include: 3 large parking areas, maximum security, premises maintenance services, constant supply of water and electricity.

Samuel Odaka
Mr.Odaka is the current Governor and Chairman of Uganda House Investments Ltd. and Milton Obote Foundation. He is a former Member of Parliament, and served as deputy Finance (Parliamentary Secretary), Deputy Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Planning and Economic Development.
He is a distinguished civil servant as well as a successful businessman.
John Robert Ochole Elangot
Mr. Elangot is the current director of both Milton Obote Foundation and Uganda House Investments Limited, Managing Director of Aketa Farmers and Millers Ltd, a Director of Cairo International Bank and Chairman of the Micro-Finance Support Centre Ltd.
Mr. Elangot was a Deputy Governor of Bank of Uganda and Director of Uganda Commercial Bank (now Stanbic).
Celestino Darasson Mindra
Mr.Mindra is the current Group General Manager and Secretary of Milton Obote Foundation, as well as Director of Uganda House Investments Ltd. An engineer with considerable experience, he is a former Director of Uganda Manufacturers Association and worked in various industrial establishments. He is also the President of the Commonwealth Boxing Council and Uganda Professional Boxing Commission. |
